The NFL Has Changed Course And Decided To Investigate Peyton Manning's HGH Use

As I’m legally obligated to do, quick shoutout to NFL PR for correcting this “false” report so quickly while the 11 of 12 footballs report still remains unchallenged.

So that’s what happened last night. Reports of the NFL denying the invitation to participate in the USADA and MLB’s investigation of HGH use stemming from Al Jazeera’s report. It as everywhere. Pro Football Talk, ESPN, the Score, CBS, etc, etc. were all reporting it. The NFL wanted to run it’s own, “independent” investigation.

Fast forward to this morning and you’ll never believe it, but the NFL has now decided to join in and coordinate with other agencies. Maybe I’m insane but this pisses me off even more. The NFL’s complete lack of backbone is fucking sickening. I’ll admit that I’m hater until I die, from this breath until my last Roger Goodell will never make the right decision in my eyes. But this is pathetic. Everything they do is a scam. Every report they release is actually just a feeler to see what the public thinks. If there’s backlash then within 24 hours they’ll do an about face and reverse course.

“Correction: we are investigating.”

It’s absolute insanity. You’re a multi-billion dollar corporation and you can’t make one decision for yourself? You don’t have employees or leaders with the stones to make one goddamn decision? I should be happy that they’re actually investigating Peyton but I’m so sickened by the process that I can’t even take joy in that. Think for yourself ONCE. Make the correct decision the first time without kowtowing to the public ONCE. I can’t believe it’s that hard, yet the NFL proves it is time and time again.

PS – For everyone who loved to champion the belief that Al Jazeera isn’t real news, that was what people said a year ago when they reported that Flint, Michigan’s drinking water was poisoned and unsafe. No one listened because it was Al Jazeera. Can’t believe they made that one up too.
